Lycanthrophy
Lycanthropy is in the vein of 30 days of night, by Steve Niles. It concerns werewolves who are on the run from Victorian London. They end up in the wild west, and enter a fort pretending to be bounty hunters in human form. The fort has confederate soldiers from the civil war guarded by union soldiers. Once the full moon rises, pure mayhem happens.
Friends, enemies and those in between find themselves united in a fight to the death against a common enemy, and all against a historically authentic backdrop of the Nineteenth Century American Civil War. After an opening of high octane visceral and bloody terror on the streets of Victorian London we sail overseas to America and the harsh reality of life in the old west. Beasts of the night, WEREWOLVES, are on the prowl and no one is safe, be they rancher or pioneer alike. Amidst the bloodlust and frenzy of near constant frenetic action we are introduced to a disparate band of outlaws as they rob a train for the gold and glory within. Soon after this we meet our love interest, a pioneer couple on the run after everyone in their camp is slaughtered in a werewolf attack. It seems as if these people are destined to be drawn together, be it fate, chance, or simple bad luck.
Once everyone finds themselves at the same location, a Union fort in the middle of nowhere, it seems as if safety is final found. And then, some travellers come a knocking in search of rest and respite from what the night of a full. Pages shown are examples of art and pages inside each Graphic Novel.
